Peter Ellin will be our new Business Development Manager.
We considered Pete’s one of our expert engineers with a great technical knowledge of all the various types of systems we install, with this knowledge he will be better suited to help customers work out their fire suppression needs.
Whilst with us as an engineer he was very enthusiastic about getting involved in all aspect of company activity including charitable events that we do at Cannon & APG. Last year he climbed the Yorkshire Three Peaks with us, which was in aid of Marie Curie Foundation.
Peter has said the following…
“After being a Service Engineer within the company for 2 and a half years, the opportunity came for me to use my technical and on-site knowledge in all aspects of fire suppression in this new role. I hope to use these attributes to give our customers the best possible service we can provide.”
His new job as our Business Development Manager is to maintain a good working relationship with clients, making sure sites are safe, identify leads and pitching services/systems to new clients. The role revolves around good communication & we think Peter will be great at this because he is a really friendly and personable individual.
He will be following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings. Planning and preparing presentations (Pete, say hello to Powerpoint). Communicating new company developments to prospective clients, helping with the development of marketing.
Peter has taken his promotion at a great time, with Cannon Fire Protection expanding in various areas, gaining both a new office and equipment as well as launching a brand-new division (Fire Sprinklers). He will be based at the new Cannon office in Ollerton. Everyone within the Asset Protection Group wishes Peter all the best in his new role.
